Bronze has been used variously throughout human culture. A sculpture by Rodin was titled The Age of Bronze. The Hispanics termed themselves as the Bronze Race. In the United States, one of the Awards and decorations of the Civil Air Patrol is the Bronze Medal of Valor. In mythology, the time human beings lived a less idyllic life as compared to the Silver or Golden Age is referred to as the Bronze Age. Meanwhile, those comic books that were published between 1970 and 1984 are called Bronze Age Comic Books. Those that are published by Image Comics are called Age of Bronze. During pre-historic times, Bronze Age means a period of advanced metalworking that includes different techniques in smelting tin and copper, creating a bronze alloy and casting them into bronze artifacts.
